This is an ideal starter for anyone looking to move away from friendfeed, or just wanting to get into the aggregating systems for social networks.

Bottle rockets are awesome

Water Rocket with 3 boosters from AirCommand on Vimeo.

High pressure water and nerds == 584 feet straight up.
I like the onboard video, it is very good and I'm surprised at how effective the booster separation is.

AirCommand : water rockets has instruction and plans, while the blog has stories with pictures and video.

Great designers steal - Jeff Veen

Via BoingBoing - Great Designers Steal by Jeff Veen.

A great shot video talking about design inspiring design and the motivations behind good design.
A quick reference to cargo cults is thrown in to good effect.
I like the format of these presentations, if encourages snappy delivery of complex ideas.

Posterous vs. Freindfeed

Considering that friendfeed is now a facebook property, I think it's time to look into other services.
After discovering the PicPosterous app for iPhone, I decided to look I to the posterous.com service.
So far it's been painless, but only time will tell as to whether I like it.
Now I just have to see if keeping FreindFeed active will cause a flurry of double posting.
